BONDED MAGNETS
Injection molded magnets can be produced in three basic magnet grades:
- Bonded Ferrite
Bonded Ferrite grades are manufactured in isotropic and anisotropic materials with maximum energy values from 0.25 to 2.45 BHmax (MGOe)
- Bonded Neodymium
Bonded Neodymium grades are manufactured in isotropic materials with maximum energy values from 3.3 to 12 BHmax (MGOe).
- Bonded Samarium Cobalt
Samarium Cobalt grades are manufactured in 1-5 and 2-17 grades with polymer binders of Nylon 6, Nylon 12 or PPS to provide maximum energy values from 7.82 to 10.84 BHmax- MGOe.
Over molding or Co-Injection molding can be utilized to produce magnet sub-assemblies. These methods of production can generate rotors on shafts, rings on hubs, etc. at very attractive costs. Compression Molded Rings can be produced using Neodymium material to produce maximum energy values from 6,000 to 15,000 BHmax-MGOe.
